How to Launch a Career in the Space Industry
In these uncertain times, starting or changing a career can be extremely challenging. With companies in a “wait and see” mode and in some cases holding off on hiring entirely, how can new graduates or applicants looking for Space and Technology jobs be sure they’re doing all they can to stand out?
Please join SSPI Mid-Atlantic for an informative Zoom session with Giuseppe Cataldo and Iban Ibanez of NASA, who will provide insights into how to navigate your way into that highly-sought-after STEM job. They’ll touch on multiple subjects followed by Q & A., including:
-Leveraging internships, fellowships, and scholarships to get a foot in the door
-Research collaboration approaches for ex-pats, and assistance for non-US nationals
-Post-doc program opportunities
-Submitting grants and applications
-Types of jobs and how to target them
-How ARTEMIS and other new NASA initiatives move the playing field in the coming months
This event is free of charge to everyone, members and non-members, but space on the virtual meeting space is limited so sign up soon.
We are looking for sponsors for this event. So if your company is interested, please reach out to Arnie.Christianson@ses.com and/or sspimidatlantic@sspi.org.
Companies sponsoring will receive visibility and publicity during the event. Donation will go to our Scholarship fund.
