The small satellite industry is grappling with supply chain challenges driven by increased demand for space-related components, particularly in satellite communications and Earth-observation data. Inflation is exacerbating the situation, affecting the feasibility of bringing new constellations to fruition. Furthermore, the limited availability of semiconductors and raw materials, coupled with the industry's complex value chain involving numerous mission builders, manufacturers, suppliers, and providers, contributes to variable performance and failure rates.

Our panel will discuss how companies are working around these trends, what other trends are playing a role in the supply chain ecosystem, and what the future holds for one of the fastest-growing space segments.
