Sergio Márquez is Director of Regulatory Affairs at Hughes/EchoStar and is responsible for managing and implementing spectrum management and coordination plans for the company's existing service and near-term road maps. Sergio has more than 14 years of experience in technical matters related to spectrum and radiocommunications and holds a master’s degree in Regulation of Telecommunications from the National Autonomous University of Mexico Legal Research Institute/INFOTEC and a Certificate in Telecommunication Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Before Hughes/EchoStar, Sergio had different roles related to spectrum management and spectrum monitoring at the Federal Institute of Telecommunications in Mexico.
